We like conveying the education expertise of ITU out of the campus boundaries.

Thanks to the collaborations with Turkish Ministry of Education (MEB), ITU academicians participated in the education at Institutions such as ITU ETA - Doğa College, ITU-MTAL Highschool and ITU Music Middle School. These institutions are under the Turkish Ministry of Education, and independent from our university.

The PROTOCOL signed between the MEB and ITU on vocational and technical education collaboration, gave rise to the ITU-MTAL Highschool.

ITU Academicians took part both in the administrative and teaching tasks in the high school. Seminars, awareness projects, survey studies are held. In 2020, a total of 180 students of the high school are given educations by the ITU Academicians.

ISESER-2020 İstanbul Symposium

Another project was conducted by ITU ETA Foundation, on 12 academicians from ITU to participate the Technology courses at the DOĞA College Campuses, as project advisors. ITU Academicians advised both the teachers and the students of the college based on their observations on the course R&D projects.

Within the scope of "Zero Waste Education" jointly coordinated by Eyüpsultan Municipality and ITU Environmental Engineering Department, ITU Environmental Engineering Department students gave 141 trainings (22800 students in total) in 31 Primary Schools between 24.02.2020-04.03.2020.
