A team named Bosphorus from Istanbul Technical University and Yildiz Technical University undergraduate, MSc and PhD students represented Turkey for the first time in the Solar Decathlon Africa Competition in September 2019. The team started the construction of the ReYard House Project of 90 m2 consisting of 2 rooms and 1 living room with zero energy and zero waste concept in Green Energy Park in Ben Guerir, Morocco on 21 August 2019. One of the most important targets in this project was to take measures to reduce water and energy footprint.
