Open Digital Innovation Hub conducted by Dr. Sinan Küfeoğlu will be a floating platform providing residence for two persons. ODIH will essentially be a prosumer which produces its own energy and sell the excess power over Blockchain. It will have PV and wind power production. To store energy, we will employ batteries and heat pumps. All household appliances will be IoT compatible and smart. We will also have smart charging infrastructure for Electric Vehicle use. We aim to design a Home Management System (HMS) to run and oversee the operations in the compound. HMS will make use of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data and it will be an evolved version of traditional smart meters. The compound will also harness rain water through smart agriculture. We aim to provide waste water treatment as well. Through this we would like to address Water-Energy-Food (WEF) nexus. ODIH aims to host all innovators and entrepreneurs who have ideas on digitalisation in smart homes and self-sustaining buildings. HMS will be open source and innovators will be able to integrate their solutions and test those in real life.
